Hampton Independent State School Partnership
Hampton ISSP is comprised of two schools from the independent sector and five schools from the maintained sector.
Over time, we have built a lively and varied programme of educational and co-curricular opportunities, and academic support that operates throughout the year. These activities enable pupils and teachers across the partnership to work collaboratively and to draw upon the particular strengths of each school. All schools within the Hampton ISSP are invited to host different events resulting in a range of enrichment days including Maths, IT, Science, Design & Technology, Public Speaking, Dance, Music, and a Model United Nations Conference.
Hampton School hosts an annual A*/A GCSE Revision Day. In 2017, 114 pupils from the maintained schools within the ISSP attended for revision sessions in Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. These were organised and run, predominantly, by members of Hampton’s Common Room. Significant numbers of pupils went on to exceed their anticipated grades in the GCSE exams.
