Young Performers Concert for Dornakal

The Young Performers and Friends of Dornakal concert was a huge success and raised an amazing £850 for our partner school, the DDEM School in Dornakal. It was a wonderful evening and Holy Trinity Church in Longlevens was delighted to host the concert and welcome the musicians and singers. 

Special thanks to King's music staff John Pennington, Catherine Sawyer and Dee Peters as well as the simply fantastic singers and performers: Bertie, Jacob, Alexander, Joseph, Alexander, Henry, Wayland, Ella, Cecily, Emma, Henry, James and Oli.  Former pupils Maria Pennington and Sophia O’Sullivan came back especially to sing, as well. John Knowles, the organist at Holy Trinity also played the organ. There were many people from Holy Trinity Church and from the local community in Longlevens. We thank everyone for their support.

After the concert, a raffle was drawn and everyone enjoyed refreshments in the hall.
