Year 5/6 Activity Day

Three local state primary schools, including over 50 students, were invited to spend the day at Millfield and take part in a range of academic, art and sport activities. This day was organised in the hopes of providing new experiences and access to a fantastic range of resources.

The children enjoyed the opportunity to eat in our Dining Hall before learning printing techniques in our inspiring art studios.

The final activity involved Millfield sport leaders running a fast-paced dodgeball tournament on our Astro pitch facilities, with medals and teddies provided to the winning team and certificates for all participants.

15 Millfield teachers and 13 students enthusiastically gave over 50 hours of their time to prepare and run the activities.
