World Record Assembly

On Friday our school took part in Svitlo School's World Record Assembly to raise awareness of the impact of conflict.

 

Aims

Svitlo School’s mission is to educate future political and social leaders of Ukraine, with nearly 2500 Ukrainian students, a team of Ukrainian helpers and over 60 volunteer teachers. They offer academic and extra-curricular lessons in English for children in Ukraine as well as support for Ukrainian pupils completing their GCSEs in the UK. Svitlo Education also acts as a support structure and gives their members a sense of community.

Impact

During the assembly our pupils heard from young Ukrainians Kseniia, Anna and Tymur whose lives have all been affected by war; they all shared their own personal inspiring stories.
