Women and Wellness Conference

A conference aimed at Sixth Form and members of the local community, covering topics including: menopause, digital awareness, financial literacy and nutrition.

Around 200 people attended over the course of the 8th November 2023.  

Aims

To provide focused presentations and decisions centred around the themes of women and wellness.

Background

This was part of Benenden's 100 year celebrations

Resources

The conference was based in the Centenary Hall at Benenden School, with all resources, food and entrance at no cost to visiting schools and community guests.

 

Pupil Involvement

The conference was primarily aimed at 6th Form students. 

Frequency

This was initially a stand alone event, however given its success we are keen to explore another similar theme conference in the next two years.
