Wildlife Education for Primary Schools
The annual primary schools wildlife talk involves over 450 primary school students. In 2023 the talk from wildlife presenter Megan McCubbin talked about the importance of our individual actions to support wildlife conservation; and in 2022 Roger Morgan Grenville talked about his nature adventures with beavers and buzzards.
Pupils are invited to enter a wildlife competition for which there is a prize winners tea.
Winchester College has arranged visits for 120 primary school pupils to Cameron’s Cottage in the New Forest for ecology and forest school activities.
