West Midlands Gymnastics Association
West Midlands Gymnastics Association are an organising committee that run and administer Gymnastics competition for State and Independent schools in the West Midlands area. The Chairperson for the Association this year is a teacher from St. Pauls Girls school, a local state school. This school will be one of the state school entering the competitions being hosted and administered by Edgbaston High School for Girls.
Aims
The Committee organise annual floor and vault competitions at U9,U11,U13, U15, U17 and U19 competitions for both novice and experienced gymnasts from state and independent schools.
Resources
Edgbaston High School provide all the facilites for free for all novice and advanced gym competitions. We provide Judges, Refreshment and Event Management expertise for these competitions.
Impact
There are several events that EHS offer their facilites for the Gymnastic competitions over the course of an academic year.
Pupil Involvement
Pupils from state schools in the West Midlands are invited to EHS to take part in the competitions. Independent schools are also represented.
