Volunteering - Watergate School: Interacting with Children with Special Needs

Fun Fizz Field Day takes place at Watergate School, Lower Sydenham, a school for children with profound learning differences. Our pupils act as classroom assistants for an entire day three times during the academic year. Up until a year ago, our pupils helped in the running of Watergate's after-school club on Thursday evenings.

Our pupils clearly enjoy this option where they interact naturally and offer their time and energy in a spirit of unconditional friendship.
