Use of Swimming Pool

On an annual basis Cheney School is given free of charge access to our swimming pool and equipment, including boats, for capsize tests. This access allows Cheney School to induct pupils into their rowing programme without the need for travel or pool hire at another facility.

The partnership aims to ensure Cheney are able to deliver their rowing programme without additional cost.

Background

The proximity of Cheney School means that there have been a number of different partnerships that have developed over recent years, and new opportunities to work together are always considered.
