The Big Design Challenge

Students from the eleven schools in the EKST partnership were invited to take part in the Big Design Challenge, hosted by us here at St Lawrence College. Students were challenged to design products for the house of the future, practising their creativity by developing really innovative and exciting ideas. Designing was overseen by a special guest.

Aims

The Big Design Challenge supports the overarching aims of the East Kent Schools Together Partnership, to raise aspirations and to widen horizons of all of thoseĀ  involved. It also aims to provide an opportunity for students to develop creatively, to think fluently and flexibly whilst collaborating with students from other schools. Confidence increased as part of the process for all of those involved.
