Teaching Assistants at Langford Primary and Thomas's Academy

Six Sixth Form pupils volunteered weekly at Langford and Thomas's Academy as part of our Sixth form outreach programme. 

Volunteers took on the role of Teaching Assistants across multiple year groups enabling them to provide hands-on assistance to class teachers and build relationships with the primary school pupils. 

Our pupils launched book clubs within both settings - we provided the book club books and our pupils facilitated the sessions. Unfortunately, the book club was cancelled due to Covid-19 lockdown in the Summer term.
