Supporting the Nottingham City Remembrance Parade

As part of the annual Remembrance parade in Nottingham, Nottingham High School CCF parade alongside the South Notts Hussars Association through the centre of city and attend the service of remembrance at St Mary's Church in the Lacemarket.

Aims

Alongside our annual Poppy Appeal collections and whole School remembrance assembly and service, our CCF provide full support for the Nottingham City remembrance Sunday event.

Background

After supporting parade and service in the local Nottinghamshire town of Bingham for many years, our CCF was invited to support the Nottingham City events. We have done this since 2014.

Resources

The parade through the City and service at St Mary's Church is fully supported by cadets and staff from Army, RAF and Royal Navy sections of our CCF. Typically more than 80 pupils and six members of staff will be involved.
