Support of local primary school drama productions

Pocklington School Drama Department supported a local primary school's summer drama production by providing more than 50 complete costumes and costume pieces.

Aims

The teacher leading the performance of Alice in Wonderland at Setterington All Saints' CE Primary School was looking for some eye catching costumes to support their performance of Alice in Wonderland.

Resources

Following a visit from the drama production lead from Setterington Primary School, Pocklington School was able to supply more than 50 complete costumes and costume pieces, free of charge.

 

Impact

The feedback was that it was the 'best ever' production, thanks in no small part to the Pocklington School costumes. The children sent a wonderful thank you card with images, their thanks and some very impressive reflections on what the costumes meant to them.
