Support for Ukrainian Children at Sports' Summer School July 2022

We were delighted to be able to offer fully-funded places to children from Ukraine on our Summer School. 10 children participated in our Multi-Sports Camp for a week and staff were impressed with how much their language skills improved over the week. 

Our programme of courses runs for the first two weeks of state school holidays and is open to Withington pupils and their siblings (including male siblings) and the wider local community as we advertise on our website and in a selection of publications such as Families magazine. We also market it to our most recent cohort of pupils who have attended an outreach programme - the SHiNE Together programme (listed on Schools Together as SHiNE Educational Programme).
