STEM Enrichment Partnership
State school, St Martins, attend our university standard Science laboratory as part of their weekly STEM enrichment class. The partnership has been in existence for over 7 years and enables students to complete the practical elements of their GCSE syllabus utilising the excellent facilities and specialist staff. Previous successes have seen students achieving 2 or 3 grades higher in their examinations.
Headteacher of St Martins School reflects:
"The opportunity for our students to see an exceptional independent school environment first hand is truly inspirational and raises the aspirations of all the students who study there.
"Each year our collaboration gets stronger and more varied. Top set year 10 students have now had the experience of being taught Science at Moreton Hall for 5 years. They have studied in Moreton Hall’s amazing new Science block, in small groups, and been taught by some of the best Science teachers in the country. This experience has not only developed their Science skills and knowledge but made them feel special, independent and valued, giving them confidence to believe in their abilities and to strive for the very best in everything they do."
