State school partnerships - sharing teaching resources and experience

Teachers at St Swithun’s undertake the following:

contribute to research and teacher CPD at the Maths and Science Centre in Southampton
share sciences resources on TES website
provide mentoring for PGCE undergraduates from Winchester University
audit and construct the RE curricula and best practice across the county as a member of the Hampshire SACRE
fellowship of the Royal Society of Arts, widening access to philosophy in state schools which includes running workshops for all the primary schools in the Kings' School pyramid and staff at Kings' School
act as an educator for the Holocaust Educational Trust, undertaking both outreach programmes in state schools and taking groups of students to Auschwitz

To create partnerships with colleagues in local state schools and locally based PGCE students in order to share resources and experience
