SSLP Sculpture Workshop

The Dulwich College Art department ran a two-day collaborative sculpture workshop for SSLP students at Bell House Community Space in Dulwich Village.

Aims

The aim was to bring together art students with a passion for sculpture so that they could explore different methods and media in greater depth than within the school environment.

Background

Bruce Ingram had an exhibition inside Bell House, and using his sculptural work as a starting point, students participated in a number of ‘making’ workshops.

Resources

The workshop was taught by artist and Dulwich College teacher Bruce Ingram.  

Impact

Feedback from attendees was good, and seven schools were represented.

Pupil Involvement

Twenty places were available for year 12 students from all schools.

This was a two-day singular event for summer 2018.
