Sports Partnerships

·         Bristol Falcons Junior and senior club have agreed a partnership across Badminton School year groups, to provide coaching within the school and allow access to the club’s sessions for pupils. Badminton School Sports Centre is the venue for Bristol Falcons to host not only their practice session, but junior and senior matches. ·         Crossbow Netball provides access to the club for pupil. Juniors can start from complete beginners and progress to intermediate levels with opportunities to play in competitions.  

·         Bristol Penguins Bristol Penguins have over 580 members ranging from learning to swim, competitive and less competitive. In 2021, they achieved a club high of reaching the National Arena League Division One A final where we finished 3rd overall. In the 2020 Gloucester County Championships, they obtained haul of 37 individual medals of which 12 were gold. Bristol Penguins work hard to ensure there are appropriate competitive opportunities for all our swimmers ranging from local, county and regional level team and individual competitions.

·         St Ursula’s and St Bonaventure’s swim lessons run their school swim lessons as a support to the community, to provide coaching within Badminton School Swimming Pool to allow their pupils to continue their progress. Not only providing our facilities, as a support to Bristol School’s we supply a 20% discount cost from our regular hourly rate.  

·         Access Sport

The Head attends the Steering group meetings once every two months.  We support Access Sport through offering our facilities (multi sports day last May) and supporting and promoting their fundraising events (20 year dinner coming up).  Jess also acts as a liaison point with other heads in Bristol which has led to them offering their facilities for Access Sport
