Sports Leaders Programme

We host seven primary school cross country events each year, with about 200 pupils from around 30 different schools attending each meeting (the highest number was 390 immediately after lockdown).

We host three or four events each year for secondary schools. Every third year we host the National cup, which attracts over 30 schools.

Two of our sports staff are involved three times per week in coaching athletics to children at the local track or in the sports hall.

We have hosted other clubs, including Taunton Civil Service Hockey Club, Taunton Vale Hockey Club and Taunton St Andrews Cricket Club.

We host performance programmes for hockey with Somerset Hockey and the West Performance Centre and with the Bristol Bears DPP Programme.

We host one-off events, including the Maddie Hinch Hockey Camp and M&H Cricket Camp.
