Sixth Form Leadership Project

This is an ongoing project where a small group of Year 12 pupils visit the Alton Primary School weekly, for an hour, in order to help in different ways.  Pupils will be part of the same project for the whole academic year. 

 

Aims

Pupils are helping Alton School staff in supporting:

• Current Events Club (discussing new articles as part of an extention club)
• Reading support for year 4 pupils
• Library provision after school, to encourage primary pupils to use this facility

Background

The project only started this academic year, but it should be continuing each year, with a new crop of year 12 pupils.
