Sharing resources in Computer Science
Pocklington School is part of the Enthuse group - a collection of four schools whose Heads of Department in Computer Science meet to share ideas. The Schools involved are:

Fulford School
Huntington School
York All Saints RC School
The schools worked together to apply for and win an ENTHUSE award from the STEM Centre. This provides the partnership with £12000 to improve computer science teaching, pupil recruitment and retention.
Aims
The aim of the Pathway Alliance meetings is for teachers in different schools to network, discuss ideas and issues.
The aim of the Enthuse group is to allow teachers in different schools to network, discuss ideas and issues. It is a platform to share good practice and arrange training, which may be external or peer taught.
Impact
The Computer Science Heads of Department cascade the discussion points from meetings to fellow colleagues, which can then impact teaching in a positive way, by increasing the quality of teaching and pupil engagement.
Frequency
The meetings are held termly.
