Sharing expertise with state school education providers
Every school within its staff body, has a pool of knowledge, skills and ideas which can be shared externally for the benefit of pupils' education.
Our Schools Outreach Programme aims to work with schools to help provide new opportunities and experiences for their pupils, to share best practice, to offer access to equipment/facilities and to help 'plug the gaps' in expertise
Through building and developing relationships with state school providers in the local community, Pocklington School has been able to share its pool of expertise with several other schools or community bodies.
Aims
Teachers sharing knowledge, ideas and resources with external providers fosters a collaborative working approach, promotes best practice, develops relationships and ultimately benefits the quality of education pupils receive.
