Science Collaborations with UTC Portsmouth

Winchester College is proud to have formed a  partnership with UTC Portsmouth, a 14-19 STEM specialist college.  

Over the past three years there have been many collaborations, including:

 - shared mock interviews for early entry candidates

 

Visits to Winchester College:

- Basketball coaching and fixtures

- Marine engineering lecture

- Antarctic talk and exhibition

- Astronomy session

- Biochemistry practicals and talks

- Environment Agency talk and climate change workshop

 

Visits to UTC Portsmouth:

- Minecraft Mars Explorer missions

- Special relativity talk

- Junior doctor talk

- F1 design workshop

 

The students from the two schools collaborate on these tasks giving them the opportunity to share ideas.
