Satellite and rocket workshops

With Tim Rogers of Future Transformation and the Yorkshire Space centre we have delivered a 2 week long programme of practical workshops for local primary schools exploring aspects of the work and design of satellites and also building and launching water powered rockets. Various space and STEM themes are covered and we hope to inspire young scientists and engineers and foster aspiration. Space related career opportunities in our region and nationally are also highlighted.
