SAT American University Admission Test

We are a national test centre for SAT admissions tests, where students from schools across the region, with the majority from state schools, to come to sit tests as part of their applications to universities in the USA.

Aims

To give local pupils a place to sit the tests required for US University admissions.

Background

Our IB Director at the time enquired into whether we could hold the tests here and open it out to the local community.

Resources

One or two members of staff, one classroom.

Impact

Once a year, outcome is that more local students successfully get places at US Universities.

Pupil Involvement

Approx 6-10 students from our School, and approx 40 students overall. Students are all aged 16-18.

Frequency

Once a year.
