Roman Day

We had the pleasure of hosting Year 3 and 4 pupils from Holbrook Primary School for Roman Day. Led by our Year 8 RHS+ pupils and enriched by the expertise of Year 12 Classicists, the event consisted of 6 entertaining Roman-themed activities.   

From the world of ‘Harry Potter Latin’, where Pupils created spells from Latin words, to the excitement of a ‘Gladiator Green Screen’ experience where everyone enjoyed transporting back to the Roman era, dressing up with props and backgrounds, the day was a success. Reflecting on the event, Year 8 Pupil Lois K remarked, “It was a fun experience and I really enjoyed teaching the Holbrook pupils”. 

Thank you to Holbrook for allowing this day to happen, and we can’t wait to repeat the fun in the summer term on our Greek day!
