Reading Mentors

An ongoing programme where CLSG pupils read with pupils from Galleywall Primary School, helping with comprehension, oracy, confidence and bridging the gap between primary and secondary.

Background

The reading mentors programme has been ongoing for a couple years.

Pupil Involvement

Has involved a variety of Year9, Year 10 and Year 11 pupils from CLSG and Year 5 and Year 6 pupils from Galleywall Primary School.

Frequency

The pupils meet virtually every week during term time.
