Provision of pool/lifeguards/swimming teaching

Shrewsbury School provides its swimming pool, lifeguards and appropriate swimming coaches to a number of local primary schools: Oak Meadow, Longden, St Giles, St Georges, Myddle, Crowmoor, Coleham, Pontesbury, Radbrook and Greenfields.

Aims

To ensure local children have the benefit of Shrewsbury School's pool for improving swimming skills, responding to the national curriculum targets of basic swimming and water safety at primary school.

Background

The Sports Facilities Manager contacted a range of local maintained sector schools to offer our services and facilities.
