Professional Degree Subjects Conference

Experts from the fields of Law, Engineering, Computing, Psychology and Architecture provide careers and higher education guidance to MCS pupils and over 50 pupils from local state schools.

Aims

To inform pupils about professional degrees and careers; provide coaching and guidance to suppport university applications.

Background

Established in October 2013.

Resources

MCS provides speakers. Uses MCS facilities - Dining hall, library and several classrooms. Catering provided. Uses both teaching and non-teaching staff.

Impact

Assessed annually after the conference.

Pupil Involvement

50 non-MCS pupils benefitting. Aged 17-18.

Frequency

1 day annually.
