Primary Schools Cross Country Tournament

Over 120 year 5 and 6 pupils from eight local primary schools took part in the race around St Edward's school fields.

Aims

This event aims to encourage the pupils that visit St Edward's to take part in more sport (both competitive and non-competitive), as well as promoting wellbeing and developing leadership and confidence skills.

Resources

This event took place on school fields. The Sports Hall and Martyrs Pavilion were also used. 

St Edward's Sports Department and Harriers were involved in hosting the event. 

Refreshments were provided to competitors and spectators.

Pupil Involvement

Over 120 year 5/6 pupils

Approximately 10 St Edward's pupils were involved in marshalling the event.
