Primary School Robotics Club

An after-school club based on robotics led by a CLSG teacher/ specialist with 6 years of experience of leading robotics provision at CLSG. Taking place at the Aldgate School and COLPAI.

Aims

- Developing STEM aspirations for students

- Enabling students to experience the interdisciplinary nature of science, design, computing and mathematical disciplines.

- Enabling students to develop their STEM skills in a practical situation.

- Giving students opportunity to develop teamwork, leadership, design, research, communication and problem solving skills.

- Demonstrating that science and engineering are enjoyable activities to undertake.

- Providing opportunities for junior school pupils to engage with secondary school pupils in common activities, helping the transition between primary and secondary levels.

Pupil Involvement

Range of Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 pupils.

Frequency

Three weekly clubs running from the Summer 2023 term to the Summer 2024 term.
