Team competition for local primary schools. Promoting mathematics. Stretching the most able. Marketing the school.

Background

We have run this event for around 10 years now. I'm not sure how it started but its a great event.

Resources

Rely on Marketing for communication with schools and catering for providing lunch and refreshment. We need a large venue (LLT or Founder Hall) and approx 3-4 staff from Maths. Cost is  printing resources, staff time and catering.

Impact

Students who excel are encouraged to apply to the school.

Pupil Involvement

Year 5 pupils from local state primary schools. 48 attended, roughly 50-50 gender split.
