Primary Language Clubs

MCS Sixth Formers run over 160 sessions of Latin, French and Spanish with more than 200 children in local state primary schools. The pupils receive coaching and mentoring in a number of areas from MCS Sixth Formers. This helps to improve comprehension skills outside the curriculum.

Aims

To provide language teaching in additional languages that are not offered within the schools' curriculums

Lesson plans, worksheets etc., staff time.

Impact

The impact is measured thorugh feedback from the external pupils and teachers

Pupil Involvement

200 external pupils aged 6 to 11 are involved. MCS pupils aged 16 to 17 run the clubs.
