Prep School Author Talk

The Prep School hosted a talk by the engaging children’s author Abi Elphinstone. Held in the Theatre, Prep 5 and 6 pupils were joined by fellow Year 5 and 6 pupils from Sheen Mount Primary School. Ms Elphinstone discussed several of her books, including where she finds her ideas and how she sets about the writing process. Many of her ideas stem from adventures she has had in remote places in the world, which made for a fascinating talk.

Aims

To inspire the children in their own creative writing and encourage them to read for pleasure.

Pupil Involvement

95 IPS Prep pupils and 100 Sheen Mount pupils.
