Physics training for non-physics specialists
The Winchester College Physics Festival is an annual event hosted by the College in collaboration with Physics Partners. Even during the Covid lockdown the event continued, moving to an online event.
The sessions include practical workshops showing non-specialist Physics teachers innovative ways to teach Physics at Key Stages 3 and 4. This has included subjects such as ‘misconceptions in mechanics’, ‘electromagnetic connections’ and ‘challenges and misconceptions in electrical circuits’.
There is also a keynote speech and the chance to network whilst browsing stalls from our exhibitors.
The event happens every July and further details can be found on the Physics Partners website.
