Photography Day - Sunnydown School

Sunnydown School is a special state school for boys aged from 11 to 16 with communication and interaction difficulties, including autism.

Caterhams Art Department ran a photography session on how to create ‘photograms’. This is a darkroom activity whereby objects are placed on light sensitive paper, exposed to light and then processed.

Impact

The session was attended by 8 boys from year 8.

The boys had some really lovely results and enjoyed their session here.

Quote of the session “I love this kind of photography! It’s just like magic!”

We have close ties with Sunnydown and hope to continue this link in the years to come.
