Partnership with SEN Specialist School

To offer assistance to staff teaching children with Special Educational Needs, to encourage community values and to offer year 12/13 students an opportunity for community work with a difference.

Aims

To support local SEN specialist school with projects and volunteering and in fundraising initiatives, as well as enable UCS students to experience a different learning environment.

Background

Long standing relationship between the two schools in the same local community, discovering new ways to support each other in recognising and supporting those with SEN.

Resources

Volunteer students, staff time and administration.

Impact

Support is appreciated and actions of our students praised.

4-6 students from Years 12/13.

Frequency

Every Friday afternoon.
