Partnership with Lisvane Cricket Club

We have forged a wonderful partnership with Lisvane CC. St John's is keen to allow limited use of facilities by the public and mindful that clubs find it extremely difficult to book appropriate venues. Both the youth teams and Ladies Cricket team at Lisvane CC, hire the sports hall and cricket pitches at the school. The partnership has expanded with additional expert coaching sessions taking place at the school. Pupils at St John's alongside the cricketers from Lisvane CC, are enjoying the organised sessions.

Aims

Forge local community benefit and providing sporting facilities for Lisvane CC. There is a shortage of bookable sporting facilities.

A number of our pupils play cricket for Lisvane and the use of school facilities by the wider public is an opportunity to visit the school.
