Partnership with Exeter University's Centre for Circular Economy Hub
We are delighted to be in partnership with the University of Exeter's Centre for Circular Economy. We collaborate with the faculty in exploring ways in which Wellington can enhance our own approach to sustainability, and play a leading role in doing the same within our local community.
It was a pleasure to produce this video Our Vision for a Sustainable Future which was shown at the Circular Economy Showcase Circular Economy Showcase, which took place in London this Wednesday.
This partnership, and our contribution to the Showcase, is something we can all be very proud of and we hope that our relationship with the faculty will grow and deepen over time.

We hope to collaborate with the faculty in exploring ways in which Wellington can enhance our own approach to sustainability, and play a leading role in doing the same within our local community.
We produced a video showcasing Our Vision for A Sustainable Future, demonstrating all the many projects we undertake to promote environmental sustainability. This was showcased at the video which was shown at the Circular Economy Showcase 2022 In London
Background
We were introduced by Alan Hooper, a Trustee of the Wellington Foundation, to Exeter’s Centre for Circular Economy (Centre of Circular Economy)
This partnership, and our contribution to the Showcase, is something we can all be very proud of and we hope that our relationship with the faculty will grow and deepen over time.
Resources
Time, use of students and an Old Wellingtonian who is setting up as a videographer. Using the school photographic studio and premises, the cost was minimal.
Impact
It was a pleasure to produce this video (Our Vision for a Sustainable Future) which was shown at the Circular Economy Showcase (Circular Economy Showcase 2022), which took place in London this Wednesday. Feedback from how our video was received is below:
“The event went really well and the video was one of the highlights. It received a lot of great comments, and the audience found it inspiring to see so many different voices and the passion you showcased for becoming more sustainable. There was even rumour of a member of the audience shedding a tear during the showing.”
I am very grateful to Jo Talling for taking the lead on this project, and for Claire Smith for all the work she did in arranging the filming. Both Jo and Claire did a brilliant job.
