Partnership with Chantry Community Academy

We have been supporting the School through our head of Prep School Science (since 2022)

We have been regularly supplying them with recycled library books.

We provided materials (pallets for raised beds) for their award-winning garden project and King's staff have been lending a hand during weekends and holiday time. This was completed in 2023.

We have visited and contributed to parts of the science learning making video clips with our skulls for year 4 to study teeth and dentition - we are loaning the skulls and teeth to the school. Also, we have visited the years 3 with fossils and given talks. We took Roffa the bear there and told his story of space adventure which included getting the pupils to fill balloons with Helium and tying a message onto them.

It all started with taking instruments and doing a 15-20 minute intro for year 3 and above and an assembly explaining how a trumpet works and giving a couple of pupils the floor
