Partnership STEM classes
STEM partnership sessions focus on the real-life applications of structure, modern materials and dynamic forces. Each session is practical with something to take home at the end to prompt discussions with parents. It is aimed at Year 5 pupils and can accommodate 6-8 students. The specialist teacher works with the same group each week for and pupils interested and enthusiastic about science and engineering are encouraged to attend.
Aims
To develop a mutually beneficial partnership between the two schools with a particular focus on STEM activities. Primary School children have the opportunity to experience lessons run by our specialist teacher in their own schools. Our own teachers are benefitting by gaining experience in teaching in the Primary environment.
