Oxbridge Preparation Partnership
For many years, Year 13 Greycourt pupils as well as students from other local schools come to IPS in order to practice Oxbridge interview techniques. These pupils are all applying to either Oxbridge or Cambridge.
IPS staff have given their time and expertise to help other pupils prepare for mock interviews. IPS staff grilled them on challenging problem-solving questions, in order to best prepare the Greycourt pupils for the real interviews. During COVID, these were completed remotely, but still allowed for the pupils to be grilled in a suitably Oxbridge style.
The subject staff provided interviews for the following subjects: English, Psychology, History, Engineering, Veterinary Sciences, Linguistics, and Dentistry.
Background
The project came about after a discussion between IPS's Deputy Head and Grey Court's Head of Sixth at a debating competition. The project began in 2018. It became a yearly event, and was offered to other schools.

IPS's facilities were used to accommodate the interviews. 5 members of IPS's teaching staff were involved in interviewing the candidates.
