Operation Christmas Kids Lunch Program
Seaford College organises and conducts a termly KLP (Kid Lunch Programme) production event with the goal to make up over 250 food boxes for children over the Christmas holiday, Easter break and Summer. We work closely with the warehouse supervisor from the Chichester District Foodbank. We are aware the demand is ever increasing and our contribution at Christmas 2023 was part of the 1050 boxes needed over this holiday. We believe our contribution makes a significant difference in meeting demand.
We encourage our parent body, their children and staff members to join on a Saturday morning - happy with any help provided - staying as long or as little as they are able.
Then these KLP boxes are stacked and loaded up the following Monday, with the help of our students to load the van for delivery to the food bank ready for distribution.
