Oakwood Mini Football Tournament

As part of our calendar fixtures, Oakwood opened up the opportunity for local primary schools to enter teams into our pre-arranged fixtures.

Aims

We aim to support the sporting talents of those pupils in our local primary schools, offering the chance to compete in football and share the opportunities to experience sport at Oakwood and connect.

Background

Oakwood Sports Department is keen to make local sporting partnerships.

Resources

- Use of school fields and equipment

- Support from teaching staff and coaches

- 3 staff - 1.5 hours

- No transactions required

Feedback from visitor pupils and staff show support and further demand for similar opportunities.
