Oakwood Inter schools Cross Country event

Oakwood invited local primary schools to join in with their annual cross country competitions. 

Aims

Oakwood aims to provide opportunities for pupils from local primary school to compete in cross country competitions against both independent and state schools in the community.

Background

Oakwood provided an open invitation to local primary school in the community. 

Resources

- Use of school playing fields & woodland course

- Both teaching and non-teaching staff in addition to sports coaches

- An afternoon event

Impact

Provided an additional opportunity for local community pupils to compete in a competition against a range of schools as well providing opportunities for school networking.
