NORMAC event

Norwich School hosted the 2018 NORMAC event, allowing multiple secondary schools to participate in this exciting project.

Aims

To teach students about the Arctic environment and its positions as an environment of natural wealth and indigenous culture. Through preparing for and participating in the council, students will gain invaluable knowledge about the environment and cultures surrounding the Arctic and its international diplomacies.

Norwich School has been hosting NORMAC since 2016.

Impact

Pupil Involvement

Schools are able to send up to one or more delegations of 3 pupils (aged 15-18) representing one of the eight Arctic Statesor one of six Arctic indigenous people's organisations.

NORMAC has been taking place annually since 2016.
