Nicola Benedetti and Bristol Ensemble Masterclass and Concert

Nicola Benedetti ran a masterclass for Redmaids' High students and other students from Bristol based schools. Later that evening, Nicola Benedetti was joined by conductor Leonard Elschenbroich and the Bristol Ensemble for a public concert in Redland Hall. The programme, performed to a sell-out audience, included Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto, followed after the interval by Beethoven's Symphony No 7.

Aims

The partnership gave our students the chance to be given advice from an inspiring classical performer and also allowed the wider community to enjoy a concert featuring the Redmaids' High resident orchestra.

Pupils from different Bristol schools were invited to the masterclass with Nicola Benedetti from different age groups.
