Musical Theatre "Phantom" Outreach

EHS invited our local state partnership Primary School to attend our matinee performance of the school production of "Phantom of the Opera". The pupils from St Georges attended the Friday afternoon performance and were inspired by the musical talent on offer.

Aims

Our aim was to facilitate inspiration to younger pupils to take part in the Performing Arts.

Background

EHS work closely with St Georges Church of England Primary School and aims to invite pupils to all suitable school events.

Resources

"Phantom of the Opera" was performed in the EHS octagon performance space.

EHS staff and students were part of the Production staff.

EHS covered the ticket cost of the performance for the St Georges pupils and staff.

Impact

St Georges pupils fed back instantly to both EHS staff and accompanying staff, how much they had enjoyed the event and for a number of pupils this was their first extra- curricular theatre experience.
