Music Partnership

Music Partnership with St John Fisher Primary School, Littlemore.

Working with Years 4, 5 and 6 at HSO recording songs in the studio, teaching keyboard skills, singing songs, developing ensemble skills and listening to live performances.

Students learn to develop their musical skills and perform in small groups.

SJF students visit HSO once a week for hourly sessions, working with our music staff and using the facilities our Music Department has to offer

Aims

We hope to inspire young musicians to play and perform.

We hope that those primary school students in attendance will benefit and develop their skills and talents.

Background

Headington contacted a local school, with whom we had established links, to offer this support.

Resources

primary school students visit Headington and use musical instruments and resources.
