More Melody

This is a fantastic opportunity for Year 4 children to get together and to enjoy singing. They will have fun making music and, in a short space of time, master some high-level skills, including singing in different parts, singing in rounds, and exploring ostinato rhythms. This is closely linked to the National Curriculum where music is used to increase self-confidence, creativity and a sense of achievement.
One of our music specialists will visits the school for an hour and teach the children vocal skills such as warm ups, use of dynamics and articulation. They learn a number of songs.
